Brooks Hemauer owns the taproom. Shannon Hemauer shoots boudoir.
Together they created the "Beer & Boudoir" marketing campaign in 2021 to cross-promote each other's business.
What makes this marketing campaign unique: the women featured are past boudoir clients of Shannon's who volunteered to pose with Hemauer Brewing Co. beer, merchandise, and taproom-related products, such as cocktails and wine.
GOAL OF THE CAMPAIGN
To bring craft beer drinkers to the taproom.
To book women for a boudoir session.
Hemauer Brewing Co.
Hemauer Brewing Co. is a craft brewery and taproom located in the same complex as the Peppermill Family Restaurant at 1010 Wesley Drive in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Opening in May 2020, HBC specializes in creating high-quality, true-to-form craft beer, but they aren't afraid to try new styles/flavor combinations.
The taproom offers patrons:

SHANNON HEMAUER PHOTOGRAPHY
Award-winning PA boudoir studio photographer, Shannon Hemauer, is located near Carlisle, PA, and has been shooting exclusively boudoir since 2014 for woman living in Pennsylvania and surrounding states.
Shannon photographs women of all shapes, sizes, ages, and beliefs. And none are professional models!
All standard boudoir sessions include professional hair/makeup (and false lashes), shopping guidance/wardrobe consult (clients know what they're going to wear before even stepping foot into the studio), and posing direction (from top to bottom, start to finish.)
She is a wife, mother, and an eight-year active duty Air Force veteran.
Poured in PA is a documentary project from GK Visual showcasing Pennsylvania’s craft beer industry. Poured in PA: The Series shares the stories of Pennsylvania’s craft beer community, highlights the people, places, and innovation shaping the state’s beer industry. On December 31, 2021, boudoir photographer Shannon Hemauer, owner of Shannon Hemauer Photography, and her husband, Brooks Hemauer, owner/brewer at Hemauer Brewing Co. were featured on this award-winning documentary.

CAN I BOOK A BOUDOIR SESSION AT THE *TAPROOM*?
No. This campaign is just a unique way to advertise the taproom and boudoir business.
You can however,
- visit the taproom and enjoy a craft brew
- book a standard or couple's boudoir session

MUST I GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO USE MY BOUDOIR IMAGES?
Not for standard/couple's boudoir images. It's always to the client's comfort level. Some clients want their images to remain private, while others are comfortable with Shannon sharing the images on line.

CAN I DO A BEER & BOUDOIR SESSION? IT LOOKS LIKE FUN!
It is! But, Beer & Boudoir campaigns only include Shannon's past clients—in order to participate, you must have already done a standard boudoir session with Shannon.

No! Shannon has been shooting exclusively boudoir since 2009, and has proven to hundred of women that with a well-fitting wardrobe, flattering hair/makeup, the Power of Posing, and great lighting, all of those things that women thought was a concern really isn't at all.
